THE GREAT REUNION LOVE IN WAS THE BOMB!
Friday blood drive at Mona Shores, Friday night Parties in the Park downtown, Saturday's Great Reunion Love In and finally the Mona Shores tour on Sunday. What a great weekend. Door Prizes totaling about $2300 found happy homes. We have about $2250 remaining in our bank account after all the final math. A great start for the next reunion team. We raised about $2000 in sponsorships and another $1200 in cash donations. Bless those sponsors. Almost 40 bottles of wine were won in the Win Wine Giveaway. The blood drive collected 47 pints. A great tribute to deceased classmates!

I hope you all know by now how well you did by putting on a perfect reunion. This was a fantastic night! Thank you so much. I really enjoyed seeing so many people and wished we had more time to visit . This was the best reunion yet. -Dan Doctor
From the web to the music to the greeters to the gifts and the cheerleaders to the blacklights, you really wowed us! It's mind boggling to imagine how much time, energy and thought you all invested in the event. Thank you. -Rene Grassman Heynssens
Many, many thanks to the 40th Reunion Committee. I'm planning to see everybody at the 45th! -Tom Patten
What a great time Michael and I had at the reunion. It was so good to see everyone I did see, but I realized I missed many too. I guess that's why we need another reunion real soon. The entire team needs to be in "The Reunion Planning Hall of Fame". I don't think I have ever heard of another Reunion like ours. Everything was exceptional from the planning stages to the get togethers, Blood Drive, Parties in the Park, Reunion and the School Tour. What else could they have included? Again Kudos to all !!! - Colleen Ruffilo Bradford
Now that we can reflect on the reunion, I don't think we could really ask for anything MORE!! The team pulled out the stops and ran with the vision. I'm just sooo proud of everyone and all the TEAM work. I am now trying to remember people I did not see. I think we all think the night went soo fast. Guess that means we all had a great time together!!! - Nancy Thompson Page
I think we should have a gathering every summer of anybody who wants to come. Bring a dish to pass - grill out - hang out. Lets' keep the big hug alive.....Any takers? - Katie Danielson Ledgergerber
It was so overwhelming, this dive into the past, feeling like way back then again.I'm still dwelling on the fantastic time we all had together! Sort of still hanging in the clouds. I really hope to make it back already next year! - Susanne Raabe
What a great experience getting to know Bodo Richardt. We never even talked in high school, but he was my reunion buddy for the entire week. Now he is a good friend. - Ken Witherspon
Thank you for throwing the best party yet! - Rene Grassman Heynssens
I got a note from Todd Woodard, American Red Cross senior recruitment representative. He had lots of praise for our event. We have already committed to another Blood Drive in 5 years........seems like a long way off BUT look how fast 40 went. Anyone who has ideas or would like to volunteer, contact me or Shelly Lennon. Keep connected. This could become a awesome tradition. Peace - Kathy Koches
40 years ago when we graduated we set out pure of spirit and sure that we would change the world. Well, guess what. We did! Every one of us in our own small way made a difference. Maybe not the grand changes we envisioned, but we have made a difference. The reunion showed that spirit is still alive and well within us. Thanks to the reunion team for a most wonderful weekend. Looking forward to another get together. - Rick Seidl
To my all my wonderful ageless classmates: Thank you for a wonderful night and a heartwarming walk down memory lane. Although, six hours just wasn't enough time to talk to everyone and catch up on the last 40 years. Thank you to everyone who attended. I hope you had the time of your life! 5 years ago, at the 35th Class Reunion, I sat with my dear friend Kay(aka Jackie Jones Russell). She has since passed away. I have a hole in my soul which is still healing. I miss her terribly.
To honor her, and 28 other deceased classmates from our Class, I agreed to co-chair a Red Cross Blood Drive to kick off our 40th Class Reunion. Peace. - Kathy Koches
Hi! Just wanted to say how wonderful our 4 days in Muskegon were. The reunion was so much fun and everything to me was perfect....every detail was so much fun. Now that we are all home and back to our lives it seems like a "dream" again. It was so nice to be remembered. I talked to as many people as I could but didn't get to everyone I recognized. I really liked the food stations because we could mingle and eat throughout the night....also the food was delicious. Wouldn't it be nice if we could have had a little more time...even though we had 4 days. Maybe actually swimming in Lake Michigan. Take care and I hope we can all keep in touch even if it is just through Facebook and e-mails. My husband Mike had a great time too.
- Patti Bohn Wirkutis
Yup, still basking in the reunion haze! - Nancy Thompson Page
Ken, I just wanted to say thank you for all the hard work you put into doing the website for the class reunion. It was so nice to see all the pictures and updates of who was coming. I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to tell you in person that night, but you did a wonderful job. Thanks to the other reunion committee members too for all their hard work. - Marcy Eder Dreikorn
I did not go to all the reunions but this one was the best one that I did attend and that is pretty much what I have heard from everyone that I talked to. You know you will have to work on all the class reunions now. - Betty Porter Eckerman
Coming home it was like...I really do belong somewhere. The retro themes were wonderful...I was always a hippie wanna be! :) - Patti Bohn Wirkitus
